Living sober is one of the most important, life changing decisions you can make and we at Dominion House are here to help with that transition.

While embracing the 12 step model, we also provide referrals for cognitive-behavioral therapy and other treatment opportunities. Each person is treated as an individual with unique solutions to those needs. We recognize that individuals initiate sobriety for many reasons -- some on their own, some via the court system. We believe that:

  • Random & scheduled urine and breathalyzer testing is necessary to secure a sober living environment for all residents.
  • Long-term sobriety provides the best chance for a successful transition to a life without being trapped by addiction to alcohol and drugs.
  • All of us need purpose and productivity for success in life.
  • Healing of relationships to family and friends is an important part of recovery.
  • Long term success is best attained by those with a sincere commitment to long-term sobriety.

Living in a structured environment helps this happen.

You've got to start your journey to living sober in a structured environment and a zero tolerance policy with yourself: no more drugs or alcohol. If you are here because you want to learn how to live a sober life and be happy and content with yourself, then you will need to understand the importance of a drug and alcohol free existence.

This is your new baseline

  • Abstinence from chemicals, and it is the base structure from which all additional growth will come from.
  • At Dominion House we try and provide the resident with a Drug Free environment. There is a zero tolerance policy for all drugs.

Dominion House has

  • 4 bedrooms and 3 bath
  • Two people per room
  • With the option of paying $1,400 for your own room.

The staff consists of a father and son team who have 18 and 3 years of sobriety respectively.
