WELCOME TO: “New York
Recovery Home”, a comfortably appointed addiction recovery facility
close tio Kingston, Albany, New York City, Newburgh and Pougkeepsie,
where you will find a relaxing atmosphere that is more conducive to a
successful transition back into mainstream society. The 14 room
farmhouse, a New York State historical landmark, more closely resembles
an upscale bed and breakfast than a recovery center, consistent with the
New York Recovery Homes philosophy to blend into the community instead
of being "walled off” from it.
We are situated alongside the
Hudson River, tucked between the Catskill and Adirondack Mountain
ranges, yet only 10 minutes from the New York State Thruway. LaGuardia,
JFK, and Newark Airports are within two hours; Stewart Airport in
Newburgh and Albany are both less than an hour away.
Our primary
focus is providing you with personalized care. Utilizing the APEX model
(Assess, Plan, Execute), we first Assess your individual situation with
you. Then, collaboratively, we Plan the steps needed for your recovery,
culminating in the Execution of the agreed upon action plan.
As
stated by Ambrose Redmoon, "Courage is not the absence of fear, but
rather the judgment that something else is more important than fear.”
