Located in a quiet, residential neighborhood, nestled in the beautiful hills of Altadena California, Marilyn Manor offers a safe, serene, and nurturing environment for adult women transitioning away from a lifestyle of previous addiction. Our clients begin their sober journey supported by a warm, extended family of residents and staff.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to promote the well-being of women in recovery from alcohol, drugs and other related behaviors by providing a safe, structured, independent sober living environment. Marilyn Manor utilizes a service system that emphasizes trust, respect, confidentiality, and compassion. We are committed to providing a nurturing, supportive 12-step based atmosphere for women at any stage in their recovery. Our philosophy is that we exist for the client and in service. We provide a comfortable, quality living environment conducive to abstinence, recovery, and personal growth.

Additionally, our mission is to create and maintain a sober atmosphere that supports confidence, self-worth, and motivation. The foundation for a healthy return to conventional living and mainstream society. While residing in a structured environment, house members are encouraged to build the essential skills for reintegration into society and productive living. To promote emotional and spiritual growth, Marilyn Manor stresses the importance of 12-step involvement as well as peer support.
